If you plan visit Liberland, you can safely park your vehicle in Liberbase. We can borrow you a bicycle and you can begin your journey to Liberland from here. It will take you about 30-40 minutes on the bike. If you prefer walking, it is a nice 2 hour walk. The terrain is mostly flat all the way.
Once you leave Liberbase, the journey goes through Zmajevac village, then you will be on a nice bicycle trail where the border police car is usually stationed and checking IDs/passports.
After the border police check, you will continue on the bicycle trail, and then the journey continues with a forest/dirt road. The nature is beautiful. You might also see wild boars, deer, foxes, and many different kinds of birds.
We prepared a map of the way from Liberbase to Zmajevac. It should be sharp if you print it on an A4.
At the Police Check
The border police will stop you at the check and will ask you for your ID/passport. Please, provide them with your identification document and wait for them to enter your data into their system. Always be kind. Usually, it takes about 5-30 minutes (if you are there for the first time, it will likely take longer).
